Ah... that is certainly an advantage. Didn't think of that. I never even thought to buy from Amazon to be honest. There seems to be a general shortage of some iPads right now so maybe Amazon won't list it until they can establish a certain stock level? I really don't know.

Depending on where you live and who the seller is, there may be no tax as well.

Amazon typically never has access to new Apple hardware when it releases. It's not just 'Shipped and Sold by' Amazon either, it's also dependent if third party sellers have access as well.

On a side note, from my past purchase history, B&H Photo has access to newer Apple harder quicker over Amazon at times and they also offer a 30 Day return period.
