I recently switched over to using JView as my default image viewer as its much faster at opening my larger pictures from my new D50, though I seem to have hit a snag. I love being able to see icon previews of the images in finder, though it seems after I change a file type (ie. all of .gifs, .jpegs, etc..) to be associated with JView, they aren't showing icon previews anymore (as shown in my screenshot), despite having 'show icon preview' checked off in Finder options.

Am I to assume that it is preview that allows these icons to be shown in Finder and not Finder itself? Is there anyway around this so that images that open defaultly with JView show icon previews as well?
