I can pair my K750i with mit internal Bluetooth Device (PB12" newest Version). iSync and DataExchange are working perfectly.

But the remote function does not work. i've tried everything... but it will not work. but while pairing the device all went well. The K750i asks if I want to use the remote now. I press OK but, instead of remote viewing pleasure, the message 'Bluetooth connection failed. Check settings etc' appears. My iBook is in range, visible, and bluetooth is on.

Whats going on? Is it something stupidly simple? I hope so, but I suspect its something to do with the what my powerbook expects my phone to be capable of.
I've also tried it with a friends powerbook - but there is the same problem...

I hope anyone can help??

Cheers, buddy

You need to install stuff on the phone that will let it control the computer. Free and basic or $24 and awesome

No you don't. The software is already installed on the K750i.
I have the same phone and can control applications and the desktop
with it. Have you tried to force an 'update' of the connection by renewing
the bt service list using hte Bluetooth menu of your phone and selecting
the paired computer?

You mean refreshing the service list inside the phone menu? If i do this, the only thing which is supported ist the "Object push"-Function.

I still doesn't work to remote my PB with my K750i. A friend of mine has a K700i which works perfectly with my PB and remote-controlling. seems to be a setting or a problem with my K750i... I don't know, what i can do else? I'm using the newest firmware on the phone...

mmm. weird. I am using R1N035 on my PB. no problems. ok, sometimes
the phone doesn't respond anymore when doing BT.

Perhaps you can try toying with the remote menu editting tool from
ericsson: bt_remote_control ( hidden somewhere on developer.sonyericsson.com )
