Kanex XD problem. 360 working but not ps3!

SO i just bought the new kanex xd and once i plugged in the my ps3 i could not figure out why it wouldnt work so i gave up and tried my 360 and it worked great. With the ps3 i even reset the video by holding down the power button until it beeps twice. I dont know what else to do. Can anybody tell me how they ran through setting up their ps3?

Have you had any luck getting the PS3 to work? Have you set the output of the PS3 to 720p?
