Im a regular viewer of the website and forums and hoping someone here can help me out.
I recently bought the XD adapter for my 27" iMac, its been fantastic with my Xbox and im very happy with my purchase, until today however.
I've turned everything on as normal, only to find there is a nasty crackling sound which is very noticeable when using the Xbox. The speaker on my iMac are fine normally, its only when I use the XD.
I have not changed any settings to my knowledge, and so far ive tried checking the sound output on my xbox, which is stereo at the moment however i notice no difference whatsoever when switching to 5.1 anyway.
Does this sound like something on my end, or should i sort out returning the adapter as its faulty ?
