Wondering if anyone has used the Karabiner Elements Multitouch extension to reduce the effective size of the trackpad? I have it setup and it's detecting fingers/input that it can ignore, but it doesn't seem to have any effect? Have attached screenshot. This is a 16" M1 Pro running the latest version of Monterey

Thanks a lot

I've tried to use it and I have also had this issue on my 16" M1 Pro. I love everything about this computer but the trackpad size. I was hoping Karabiner Elements would be the solution to help with my mobility/accessibility needs, but the Multitouch extension feature didn't work for me either.

I'm hoping there will be an update that will enable it to work one day!

Mirrors my thoughts exactly! It's just the trackpad size cramping my buzz. I just want to remove a bit of the top and bottom so I have somewhere at the top to rest my hands and have my damn duvet not trigger false values on the bottom. One thing I have done which seems to have helped a little is make these settings on the trackpad in system prefs

I also got rid of force click, because I hate having so much space and having to dictate how hard to press
