I need an app that keeps my Mac awake and so far I tried Amphetamine, which works great and it does exactly what I need. There is one minor drawback that for me is quite annoying: I have the General > Appearance set to Auto and Desktop set to Big Sur Dynamic. For some reason, Amphetamine prevents changing dynamically the theme from dark to light makes the Desktop Dark Still.

Do you know another application that does not have this behaviour?

I like Jiggler.
I can confirm Jiggler solves the issue present in Amphetamine, where the Desktop Big Sur Dynamic setting gets forced to Dark. Thank you! I left the application running since yesterday in Dynamic (Dark) and this morning the Desktop was updated properly to Light.

I used Homebrew to install it:
Code:
~$ brew install --cask jiggler

I install all my apps through Homebrew, so I can update/uninstall them all easy:
Code:
~$ brew upgrade --cask --greedy

For the rest of Store apps, I use AppCleaner:
Code:
~$ brew install --cask appcleaner
