I Keep getting "Storage Space Running Out"" message, on my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 after even unstailling lots of apps and sometimes it goes from 500MB to over 1GB of storage space after it goes back too under 500MB every now again even with out not installing any apps or anything like that.

I have never had this problem on my old Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.

Can someone help me fix this problem please?

Thanks.

Apps use memory / storage too. Magazine Apps , Comic Apps , Movie / TV streaming apps all use up external space outside of the 'App' space itself.

You need to uninstall more apps, and if your device (it should) support MicroSD use that. Indeed I'd be tempted to put a memory card in - factory reset your device and set it up again, that way Apps with larger amounts of data will be installed automatically on the MicroSD freeing up internal storage.

and before someone posts 'Jellybean doesn't support apps on microsd'.... Samsung supports storing App data on MicroSD in Jellybean 4.4.2

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 and i have all most same amount apps/games as i do on my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and it has only 8GB of Storage and it is almost full.

But on my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has 16GB of storage and despite the same amount of apps/games and more storage strangely it is almost full.

I can't figure why that the storage space is almost full despite it got more storage(16GB) compared to 8GB in my Galaxy Tab 2 7, I just hate seeing "Storage Space Running Out" message on my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and it is annoying.

I have a SD card(32GB) and i have about 17GB of space left because i stored lots of videos on there.

But if that's the case then can you tell me how to install apps/games on to my SD cards please?

I just wish there's a 32GB version of Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and it is not available yet(don't think it ever will be available till next gen Samsung pro tablets)

If you go into settings / applications. Simply click on a downloaded app, then click on move app/data to SD Card. Do that for all your apps to see if it will free up your storage.

Also is the micro SD card you have a decent brand. If it's a cheap brand they are often dodgy in regards to size listed / reputed to be and actual storage space available on it.

Go into Settings then General then Storage (if it's anything like my Galaxy 10.1 2014 with KK), it will show you what's consuming space. If you tap on "Used space" (if it's anything like mine), it will show you a breakdown.

If I can figure out how to grab a screenshot I'll post it.

Got it, see attached. They're reversed, the right image is what you see first, with the item to tap on circled.

I have the same problem, you can only move apps to SD CARD that you download from play store. All the rest that came with tablet cannot be moved. If there is a way. Please tell me. I don't have games on it. I already start deleting apps and didn't even save extra space. I did restart the tablet.

Correct, the pre-installed apps are locked and can't be moved or deleted unless you want to root the tablet. If you have to ask "what is root", don't bother as rooting CAN result in an inoperable device if you play around too much with it. Also, SHOULD Samsung decide to grace us with a Lollipop update, you'll be unable to take the pushed update as your device was modified (moving or removing the apps will trigger that).

Do you have a 16 GB model? My 32 GB one has room to spare and I have an entire home screen filled with games (including with folders to keep some sorted).

Can you take a screenshot of your storage details in the settings?

Clear your cache. That can sometimes take up a gig or two. The cache on my Moto X is something like 1.3 gigs or somewhere around there.
