I jailbroke my phone last week, but I am curious as to whether upgrading to iOS6 would be worth losing my jailbreak (I know I'll have to wait a while for an iOS6 compatible jailbreak). Is iOS6 worth losing the freedom of jailbreak apps and hacks?

I'm keeping my 4S in jailbreak mode. I downloaded IOS6 onto my iPad III, and so far I haven't found one WOW! upgrade. There are a few jailbreak options I have via Cydia on my iPhone that really make the phone more usable.

I'm in the same boat, I updated my iPad 2 to iOS 6, but didn't see any new features that were shocking/stunning/eye popping.

Keep the JB.

I had a jail broken 4s and my wife had a 4. I'm giving her the 4s and getting a 5 tomorrow (really wanted a 32 instead of 16 and I play games so it seemed worth it). I had to swap them earlier this week so she could keep her JB. I've been using the stock 5.1.1 iPhone 4 formtwomdays and I really do miss the JB. BiteSMS is so so much better than the stock app, weathericon, having more than 12 apps in a folder, having Lockinfo which in addition to making the lockscreen useful, gives you little email or message icons at the top are just the first few things I missed.

I took the leap for the 5 but I definitely regret it a bit right now.

Upgraded to iOS 6 for a day, couldnt hang (missed Zephyr, BiteSMS, LockInfo too much), downgraded back to JB 5.1.1 while Apple is still signing the firmware. Going to wait till iOS 6 is Jailbroken.

How did you downgrade to 5.1.1?

I upgraded to iOS6 and am reaaaally missing my old jailbreak just as you did

yeah half of the cydia tweaks aren't working on iOS 6 right now, especially winterboard and bitesms (two important ones for me)
