"Keep me logged in for two weeks"

"Keep me logged in for two weeks".

Well, I always tick this, yet... it doesn't work! I mean, the maximum time I stay logged is 24 hours, then I have to retype my login and password again.

What's wrong with this? I'm using Safari on Leopard...

MobileMe is a hopeless solution and Apple is stretched too thin to dedicate the resources to it. How they charge for this is ridiculous. I feel sorry for all the people who were suckered into paying for this garbage, especially since they make you pay up front for a whole year.
