Is there anyway to get rid of the pointless row of apps on the search page, but keep the random news articles? If I switch off the top part the news goes too and I end up with a blank page...

dont think u can, the news is suggested by siri iirc

I find it strange. Siri doesn't appear to be involved, not in a speaking sense anyway and what relevance do the row of apps have?

theyre supposed to be "suggested" cause u use them alot or recently, for the most part apps i run for long periods or often are always listed there, same for contacts contacted the most

I've mentioned in other threads and sent feedback to  to see if this can be changed to where a person can define what news type we can see.

I agree about the Apos too.

I've also noticed that if I click on 'show more' in the news part another partial headline pops up at the bottom but then disappears when I try and scroll to it.
