Keep Reminders in Drop-Down bar

Hey guys,
I have been trying to make reminders and keep them so that they reamin in my notification drop down bar (when you slide down from the status bar). They only show up there on the reminder day. I would like for them to be there until the reminder date. Any way to do this? I couldn't figure it out.

You are only able to view reminders 24 hours in advance. No setting to change that.

You could set a reminder for today and have it repeat daily until you complete the task

You can set events in your calendar to remind you x days ahead of time and they will show up in the NC once you receive that notification.

Not really the best option, but it does work.

Thank you. I'm looking in my calendar but I only see the option for event alert and the farthest back is 2 days before? Is that correct or am I not looking at the right place?

All day events have the option for 7 days also.

So yeah, really your only options are 2 or 7 days.
