Apple and Microsoft will extend the their font licensing agreement, giving Apple customers use of the latest Microsoft Windows core fonts.
The agreement, which has been in place for years, gives Mac users the ability to view fonts such as Times New Roman, Arial and Verdana on the Web and in software applications.
“Apple customers, developers and Web designers can safely specify fonts knowing that their documents, presentations and Web pages will appear as they are meant to be seen on screen and in print,” the companies said in a joint release on Thursday.
this is ashame really, i would sort of like to see everything in courier.
