Won't do any harm, but why? Stuff will just generally run slower, especially networks; you won't get your mail through unless manually fetching, iMessage may take longer than usual...
For better battery life? I use outlook anyway because apple mail doesn't support push for gmail. I haven't noticed anything slow or iMessage being slow.
Unless you are mostly driving it on city streets where you can't go fast anyway, in which case there isn't that much of a downside.it's like buying a luxury sports car but driving it way below the speed limit...it'll get you from point A to B, save a bunch of gas, and won't damage it. But you're not using it to its full potential, at all.
Is it okay to do so? Any harm towards the battery or the long term performance of the phone? Thanks in advance for opinions.
whatever the speed limit is on those city streets, and you're still driving way below that to try to save gas...that's the analogy i'm trying to make.Unless you are mostly driving it on city streets where you can't go fast anyway, in which case there isn't that much of a downside.
That's the thing the speed limit is low enough on those city streets that in many cases you aren't really driving all that much below it, if at all.whatever the speed limit is on those city streets, and you're still driving way below that to try to save gas...that's the analogy i'm trying to make.
