I am on a rather large network with other members off my fraternity. I was wondering how i keep people from accessing my mac files from their computers. Is my computer safe? I think some other people with macs are able to see my pictures and documents

Thanks

turn file sharing off....should be next to your network setting in your sys prefs

you could also just store your files in a different location....=]

Even if File Sharing is turned on, users attempting to log into your computer to access files would require the Admin password to gain access to your files. All of your files should be safe. So, unless A) you have no password set or B) you store all of your files in the Public directory, you should be fine. :p
