even for the screen? What's the best way to clean the screen without leaving streaks?
A paper towel may be OK for the body of the laptop, but don't use a paper towel for the screen. Use a damp microfiber cloth to clean the screen. Apply the water to the cloth and NOT directly to the screen. Also, avoid using chemical cleaners.
I have been using iKlear and Radtech ominicleanz for all of the gadgets. I make use of iKlear wax coat to keep the clean state of the gadget longer. (but not on screen as it could be streaking. Also don't use it on any lens) The Radtech one can also be applied with glasses and lens, though.
I also recommend Wrapsol as it makes the surface easier to clean. I have Wrapol on iPad, MBP and MBA and they work well.

Try Radtech omnicleanz with their own cloth. Then use a finer microfiber to finish off.

any cleaners are ********. just use water but you have to clean it regularly. in my case when i got a second-hand macbook pro from some guy, it's better to use a cleaner because it was probably never got cleaning up at the first time.

+1 Water is the best. Some of the cleaners may corrode the alu UB. A friend of mine who is a cleaning fanatic was left with white patches on the body after using some strong cleaners.
Good point. A bad cleaner is always worse than water.
I actually use both water and the other two products (omnicleanz and iKlear) interchangeably. A suitable and slightly damped microfibre cloth is useful for cleaning. However, on the aluminum surface, I find the two cleaner products with their own supplied cloth help removing the small black "dusts" as they lift up the dirt on a microscopic level. Also a good cleaner can help prevent hairline scratches induced by microfibre cloth.
I think the safest way to clean any computer's screen, including an MBA's, is with an LCD screen cleaner and a microfiber cloth. This combination is available in kit form from Best Buy and many other stores that sell TVs and computers. You need to avoid any cleaner that contains alcohol and I would not let anything liquid anywhere near the keyboard. Blow any accumulated dust from it with compressed air and carefully clean any stubborn crud with a cloth.
Agreed. I would avoid using any cleaner with alcohol regularly as it hurts the surface of the gadgets.
For blowing with air, I forgot to mention I would always use an air blower to blow out any dirts first, then followed by non-alcohol cleaner (such as omnicleanz) or clean water.
Never use compressed air for the screen as sometimes the first shot is with some gas and it could hurt acrylic and plastic in a short time and the surface cannot be recovered if the surface is not wiped immediately. It was from my bad experience and I learned a lesson. :s
I've been using paper towels and tshirts on screens since the Powerbook days, and assuming you don't dig in they have never hurt the screens. Just exhale on the screen and wipe it down. If you're concerned use a micro fiber cloth but you don't have to go nutty on the cleaning solutions.
