Keeping the AirPods Max Box?

is it necessary to keep the AirPods Max box? I’m talking about the box with the headphones picture. Not the shipping box.

Not unless you decide to sell later on. A lot of buyers want original boxes.

I keep the boxes for Apple gadgets because it is nicer to pass on to whomever “inherits” it when I upgrade. It is neat to pack up in the retail box and hand over, as opposed to just the item itself

I keep my boxes in case I want to sell the item later on. If I end up trading it in, I throw away the box afterwards.

I keep my apple boxes. They are expensive items and if and when I sell the item as part of upgrading to a newer item, I sell the item with the original box. It increases the overall value.

As a collecter, I always keep the boxes/packaging, if possible. Even if I trade it in, later down the line I can buy another just like it and put it back in the box for my collection.
