Keeping voice control on

When in my car, I'd like to be able to keep voice control on to make it easier for switching music on my iPod. But when I use voice control, it turns off after one command, which makes it pretty useless for going to the next song in a playlist. Is there a way to keep voice control locked on until I manually turn it off?

I don't think so. It's be nice if an iPhone had a feature like that, "car mode" maybe?

A car mode would be perfect, something that keeps both speakerphone and voice control on. I'm not sure if it's even possible to make an app like that but it would be great.
