iPhone Keeping your jailbreak?

... I ditched the jailbreak within hours. Got a root shell going in a Terminal and thought “... This was a cool little project, but there’s really nothing I care about in the jailbreaking world”, went back, and subsequently went to the 13.1 beta.
I will be upgrading my iPad to iOS 13, but that's it.
I only have one iPhone that can go to iOS 13 and it's been on the Pangu 9 jailbreak since October 2015. It's going to stay there on iOS 9.0.2 until it either dies or I am forced to upgrade it.

Of course I'm keeping my jailbreak on my XR, it takes the phone from very good to excellent for me.
I have considered upgrading my 12.9 2017 to 12.4 with blobs from 11.3.1, but I'm always hesitant. Plus I have 12.2 on my mini5, if pwn20wnd comes out with a jailbreak in coming days..

You can only update to iOS 12 right now. iOS 13 hasn't even been released for iPhone and iPad won't be until the end of September.
When you do reset, follow these steps.
1. Backup to iTunes.
2. Open iTunes and connect iPad to computer.
3. Turn iPad off
4. Place iPad in DFU Mode (https://www.theiphonewiki.com/wiki/DFU_Mode)
5. Upgrade and restore as new.
6. Restore from the backup you made in step 1.
Last iOS I jail broke was 7. Just don’t see the need anymore. I have an Android for anything iOS can’t handle.

Keeping mine for the foreseeable future...iOS 13 is too buggy.
It is a thread for me, the question was if we were keeping a jailbreak. My answer is I let mine go with iOS 8.
Several months ago,I went to use my jailbroken Mini 4 and got an error about the Sim card. Instantly restored and updated to the latest at the time and didn't think twice.
I also kept a new XS Max in the box that I bought in January just in case there was a JB for it one day. Opened it last month and realized I couldn't restore from another Max running newer firmware so I too updated that one. I also updates my 2018 iPad Pros to the latest. I just don't see a need to JB anymore.

Pretty sure the OP meant "Keeping your jailbreak or updating to iOS 13". Which would imply that you had a jailbreak already in order to be able to make that choice.
You let yours go with iOS 8. So you don't have a jailbreak to keep and thus a decision to make about keeping it or updating.
In any case, despite being four versions of iOS gone from jailbreak you're in the conversation now. I have to say I disagree with your stance on not needing a jailbreak anymore.
We are all different of course, but I'm just not into Apple's weak tea implementation of stuff. I mean, Quick Reply is not BiteSMS and blocking a phone number is not iBlacklist. Stuff like that.
Now, since iOS 9.2 and the rise of the semi-untethered jailbreak, jailbreaking has lost a lot. But it's still relevant yet I think.
