My MBP is about 7 weeks old, and I've experienced around 8 panics. But now I'm kind of annoyed by it, so from the panic log, could anyone please tell me what the problem is? Otherwise could anyone then point me to a better forum for solutions/troubleshooting?

Let me see... I guess you got your kernel Panics whenever you go online with battery on right?

This time I had been online for about 2 hours on battery yes.

The other times where mostly a while after I woke the computer from sleep. This time I didn't make it sleep before the panic came. Used since I restartet the last time

Hmmm not sure if urs KP is related to the wifi.. because i guess most of the SR mbp has problems with the Wifi driver and the 10.4.10.

Okay... BTW can anyone direct me to a forum better suited to questions regarding Kernel Panics? I didn't really get anywhere posting here :)

You could try Apple's own support forums... There's not an abundance of information in your kernel panic. However, I don't think it's the AirPort 'cause it usually says so. At first glance I reckon it could be RAM. Do you have any third party RAM installed?

Starting at the beginning, list your peripherals. Also, maybe try running the Apple Hardware Test from the OSX discs. Take note that the AHT has its faults and may overlook problems that definitely exist. Nevertheless it may pick something up... :)

Thank you very much Mad Jew :)

I have made no changes to the hardware config. since I bought my Mac. So I haven't added any extra RAM or a bigger HD. I using a WD MyBook 320GB external HD alot with this mac, but it was not connected at the time this kernel panic came

Will try the hardware test!

I ran the hardware test. My computer seems to be ok. But the hardware test only tested memory, and I didn't see any places where I could change this.

Just got an Airport Kernel today :(

yeah I did get that option and I chose it too, but as far as I could see it only tested the memory. But then again I did not have my eyes on it all the time.

Aiport Kernel= Kernel Panic due to the Airport driver(i think)

I know... But I don't really feel like it. My MBP is my only computer. And so far I'm not really that annoyed that I want to return it.

Besides. Here in Denmark we have no real Apple stores. Just resellers.
So if I had to return it I would have to send it in.

The thing is, the first Kernel Panic is more or less one of those generic type Kernel Panics that are hard to debug. It doesn't point to any specific problem - like memory, USB, or any other hardware.
