I'm not running any custom kernel extensions. Does anyone else have experience with this problem? It's really annoying. This mac never used to do this until randomly it started a few weeks ago. I didn't update MacOS or anything when it began.

I repaired my disk and did a system inspection using system recovery and it said everything was fine.

I too have random kernel panics with Big Sur, seems to happen in different modules.

I have a similar issue with MBP 16" OS Catalina 10.15.7

PROBLEM.... SORT OF FIXED/REDUCED, Been having this problem just like everyone, noticed that it only crashed when things were idle, and once when it looked like it was going to crash I started to move the mouse and it came bace from the edge. I got the idea to try a "Mouse jiggle USB port mouse mover" which I turn on anytime I am away from my screen (The Jiggler I have has a built in power switch) and for the last 2 months it has not kernel panicked once when the Jiggler was on. This proves that it is a problem when things are Idle and Apple needs to fix this.

I may also try this. My problem has been escalated up to Apple to the point where they replaced my Mac Pro and the exact problems persist. This is absolutely an idle time issue and the juggler is no doubt a hack solution but I bet it does work! I would prefer my screens went to sleep, though.
