Kernel Panic installing Snow Leopard

I'm trying to install Snow Leopard on my Mac Pro (2007). I have bought a new Seagate 1Tb HDD, and now I'm having the next Kernel Panic:

I don't have the original CDs.
It only has installed the original RAM, and the new HDD.

This is most likely a machine specific install DVD that doesn't fit your machine. Get a "Retail" version.

So, what I shoud do?

Buy it directly form Apple Store? Or call them, give the serial number and the send me the original CDs?

"Original disk" for a 2007 Mac Pro will not be Snow Leopard.
You can purchase the universal Snow Leopard installer from the online Apple store: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard

That would be my first approach. Calling Apple is always a good plan (if you are on the legal side). If they can't help you, they'll at least point you in the right direction.

Otherwise hunt for a SW "Retail" on eBay.
