About 7 times out of 10 when my macbook wakes up, I get a kernel panic. Sometimes it displays the "You need to power off" thing, but most of the time it just turns black and I have to force restart the machine. When I log back in, spotlight indexes my TM backup. I think it may be something with the TM drive... The TM drive is a 1TB Maxtor set up with a striped RAID system.
