I get a kernel panic every time I try and install xp under fusion. Used to work but now doesnt after I had to do a time machine restore

the kernel panic message is

com.vmware.kext.vmx86(2.0)@0x5cb1e000->0x5cbeffff

any ideas on how to resolve this?

I had something similar back when I upgraded to VMware 2.0 and also up-dated OSX to 10.5.5. At that time, I reverted to the prior versions and let things jell. VMWare came out with 2.0.1. I reinstalled the Apple udate and ran it for a while (it was stable) and then updated VMware to 2.0.1 and everthing was solid again.
