Looking for advice on an ongoing problem with my G4 iMac running 10.3.9. Been having lots of kernel panics at times, and intermittent problems with the monitor - usually the display starts breaking up into many thin horizontal lines. I'll post part of the panic log below, somebody looked at it the other day and said that the problem seems to be in the graphics drivers, suggested it was probably a hardware problem. I've run the Apple Hardware test in extended "loop" mode overnight - 42 loops, didn't document any problems. I don't know whether I can rule out a hardware problem based on this? Looking for ideas about what else to try - I've also verified the disk, repaired permissions, reset pram. Appreciate any input on this, here's the panic log:

update on this

Thanks for the reply, I've kind of got two messages going on this since the topic on my original post kind of veered away from my original question. As an update to this post, I did end up getting an error code in the Apple Hardware Test, I ran it immediately after the problem showed up again and it showed a problem with the video ram, error code disp/13/3. Any thoughts on whether this still sounds like the graphics driver or am I now looking at the video card? I checked the Nvidia site and they don't seem to provide driver downloads for Mac. Thanks
