Kernel Panics On Macbook

I have had the same kernel panic when I unplug my headphones from my MacBook. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems (or hope) that it is a software issue and can be fixed with an update.

Are they USB headphones? lol.

That is really odd. It sounds like maybe there is a short somewhere that is causing the kernel panic somehow. You may want to get that check out.

Take it to an Apple Store, or certified repair center. Make sure you can easily recreate the problem. Good luck.

No they aren't USB Headphones (lol). But I think it is a hardware problem after reading some forums on the Apple support site. I think it had something to do with the OS detecting the unplugging of the headphones and switching it to the built-in speakers. idk, hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Its not happening everytime, but when I googled: macbook kernel panic headphones, a lot of people have the same problem. Which leads me to think that since it doesn't happen every single time, it can be fixed with a software update.
