Hi everybody I’m getting kernel panics.
I copy and pasted the error message located in the log folder

Any suggestions on how to stop these panics would be appreciated.

What are you doing with the machine when they occur? What do you have in terms of third party apps, hacks and hardware? Is there anything plugged into the USB port?

No third party programs not even a widget the only apps installed on this mac are the ones that came with it. I archived and installed but that did not help.

Okay, I read it as a bad USB connection but if you don't have anything plugged in then that can't be it. Firstly, I'd try running fsck (you can just verify the disk in Disk Utility if you like, to avoid the rigmarole of fsck) for the IO errors. Then, if the disk verify find no problems, maybe take out a stick of RAM and test it with 1GB for a while. It could be bad RAM.

I'm the first one to admit I'm hopeless at reading these logs. Hopefully someone far smarter will be along shortly to be more precise. Maybe try my suggestions in the meantime.

Thanks MJ the mac was making a strange humming noise and kept shutting down
I repaired permissions and now everything is working great. The system is still humming but the grindhsh humm is not as loud as it was before.
Heres there repair log @ least I’ll know what do do incase this ever happens again.
