Hi guys, i've having this serious problem. I got this "kernel_task" problem with my MBair.

It's over loading the processors and my computer will get very very laggy. Until a point where it lag so bad, i cant do anything.....

What is "kernel_task" and what is it used for ??

I've noidea how to stop "kernel_task" from running. Even if i restart my computer, after running the computer for awhile, the "kernel_task" will start running and everything become dam dam dam laggy....

I've had it happen on my 1.86/SSD also.

I've found it happens more often when you are using high CPU and everything gets too hot. This usually happens if I have it on my lap and I'm blocking the vent. Once I started using a laptop pad it stopped happening.

This is the one that I bought. The X design keeps the MacBook Air's vent above a half inch above the plastic.
