Key Broken on MBP

Hi Gang,

A few weeks ago one of the apple keys on the MBP chipped off. I cant figure out how to get it back on... should i take it into the store to do it?

Yes, I would recommend it. You may have to get the keyboard replaced.

Is that possible? This MBP's got a screwy/unresponsive delete key; do you think they could replace the keyboard and not the whole computer?

Yes, its possible to get the keyboard replaced.

think they could replace the keyboard right there? Or would they ship it somewhere for 2 weeks. Anyone have experience with this?

They should be able to do it right there while you wait. It's a fairly simple procedure. They may just replace the whole top case with the trackpad as well because they keyboard is part of all that.

They would replace the WHOLE keyboard because one key is broken off? can't they just snap on another key?
