Hi everyone,

I have a 2017 27" iMac 5k that appears to be having some issues with Bluetooth. My Magic Keyboard and Trackpad 2 become unresponsive. For example, when typing, there will be random, long pauses before what I am typing shows up on the screen. Very much like if the computer is under an extreme load and becomes sluggish and unresponsive. Except this is happening while typing this in Safari, and the only other thing my iMac appears to be doing right now is running TimeMachine.

The trackpad has similar behavior. I can be running my finger across it, but then the mouse will stop moving on the screen and will take 1-2 seconds to begin working again.

Restarting my iMac seems to address this, however it is only temporary and the problem returns. There seems to be some correlation with this happening almost always after I have restarted my computer, used it (while it is working fine) and then the problem returns after I wake the iMac back up.

All the usual suspects have been checked: yes, macOS is up to date to the latest version, and yes I have turned off the devices, charged them, etc. and this does not change their behavior.

Has anyone else experienced this and know of a fix? Or is this a known issue? I feel like this has been happening for at least a month, maybe more.
