Anyone else had this happen?

I have an SSH app open (Termius) and Safari. I was copy/pasting something from Safari into Termius, but couldn't. I wouldn't input anything inside Termius without making it the full screen app again.

This is with the magic keyboard / trackpad.

Happens to me to occasionally when using split view with notes and keynote and some other application combinations.
What can be a cure is killing the app through app switcher and reopen it. Some times it needs multiple kills.
This is a known bug for me since the iPadOS 13.

Also using magic keyboard case.

That doesn't happen to me on iPadOS 14.0.1. Are you on a different version?

This is happening to me right now on a 5th gen 12.9” iPad with iPadOS 15.3. Clearly, it’s still an issue. I haven’t yet figured out how I make it work, but somehow, I’m sometimes able to type into one of the windows, but the vast majority of the time, I can’t type in either window. When I’m able to type into one window, tapping into a text field in the other app does not necessarily disable my ability to type in the first window. This is quite frustrating, as I just spent a lot of money on my first keyboard yesterday.
