Keyboard doesn't stay default

I use swiftkey app for keyboard and sometimes when going back into the messages app it switches back to ios9 keyboard.

ios9 and external keyboards are a mess. I had to delete touchpal for the default keyboard to show up on several apps...
So many bugs in ios9 and apple choose to release it to general public. Sad...

No. It's problematic in general, and has always been particularly bad with Messages. It's even listed as a known issue in the iOS 9 developer release notes.

That bug is around since iOS 8. Try rebooting your iDevice. SwiftKey even lists this as known issue.

Will try reboot. Didn't happen nearly as much as is now. Before once in blue moon. Now it switches even when minimizing messages and then going back in to that current message but if I go to a different message the correct keyboard is there.
