I'm gonna purchase a Mac mini, but all I have is wireless mouses. Will I need a USB mouse during setup? Or will my wireless mouse work? Thanks!

I got this call a few times while on the phones with Apple and once I finally set mine up the other night you can literally set the machine up WITHOUT a keyboard. Just hit the skip option where you would need to type. Get to your desktop and sync the keyboard. Done and done.

Is that so, OS X needs an admin/Owner password!

Wireless mouse should work fine. I prefer a radio-frequency wireless mouse (such as those by Logitech) rather than a bluetooth mouse.

As far as keyboards go -- I prefer a WIRED keyboard, especially one with a couple of USB ports on it.

Some people using wireless keyboards have reported problems during bootup, when trying to use the various key combinations that can be used during the boot process. You won't have these problems with a wired keyboard.

I still use an older MacAllay keyboard with larger shaped keys that resembles older IBM and Mac keyboards. I prefer the old-time feel. I plug the Logitech mouse's receiver into one of the keyboard's USB ports, and it's a great combination...

Thanks guys for all your comments! Gonna buy the Mac Mini today :) my first Mac finally
