Hi everyone. Would appreciate some steer on what could be the problem with my macbook. Took it to the apple tech bar and even they cannot see any liquid damage or component damage.
Bought the macbook which was working perfectly, before i gave it to my daughter i gave the keyboard a clean with a lightly moist cloth whilst it was on...
The trackpad started playing up, but that is fine now.

The problem i have is the keyboard which is acting very strangely indeed.

So some of the keys on the keyboard dont function at all.
Below is how it weirdly operates.....

The following keys work fine
1, 2, 3, delete, q, w, e, a, s, d, z, x, c, f1, f2, f3, f4, f11, f12

The following keys dont return anything at all
4, 6, f, h, j, k, ;, v, n, m, return, f5, f6,

Some of the keys produce weird combinations.

T=IORTU
O= OIT
P = P0\
F= (cant even type the symbols it produces)
G= (as above)
L= (as above)
; = 0-\
B = Bm,.
> = .b

Anybody shed any light on this absolute ludicracy???

No problem. Yeah they checked everything and said it was immaculate.
They were surprised about how good a condition it was in

I actually didn thought of that. 🫣 You should try first with the internal keyboard - I am away from my MacBook - maybe somebody who reads this and has an external keyboard at hand can kindly check wether you can zap the PRAM from an external keyboard?
