Keyboard Lag in iOS 10

Have an iPhone 6 plus.

Ran all the betas.

Around the last three betas, my keyboard became extremely laggy and continues to be even after the final OS release.

I can type a sentence and about three seconds later the words will show up after a flurry of keys popping up.

I've reset all settings, as was recommended elsewhere online.

Problem hasn't gone away. Anyone else experiencing this issue, heard of it or know how to fix it?

I have the same problem on my iPad Air 2, even on the latest beta (iOS 10.1 beta 2). Almost always the second letter I type is dropped.

So this is still the case with the 10.x release not beta? With any device and any keyboard (Apple/third party)?

I don't know anything about Beta. Its the 10 release and it still does it after the latest release. I don't have any 3rd party keyboard or emojis on my phone.
