Hello, Is it possible to summon a keyboard onto the screen of an iPad outside of Safari, Notes Maps or any other text editing apps? Thank you.

The keyboard pops up anytime you go into a text field in any app, but otherwise, no, you can’t just summon it up from nowhere when not in an editable field that I know of.

The software keyboard will only show up when there actual use for it. If you attach a hardware keyboard you can use it all the time.
