Problem:
windows will not accept any mouse or keyboards, I can't CTRL alt delete or move the mouse.
Mac OSX can see and use any of my keyboard or mice combinations.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Configuration:
MAC PRO 2.66
Windows XP sp2
Mac osx 10.4.8
bootcamp 1.1.2 Followed instructions to the T i believe... >.>

After a full week of using bootcamp 1.1.2 I was a happy "camper" lol..
Then a couple days ago, windows froze, so after i turned off the computer and turned it on I no longer can move my mouse cursor and only the Media functions on my keyboards work.
I tried unplugging my devices and replugging.
DEVICES:

Apple mouse and kb packed with mac pro.
Microsoft slim ergo kb wired and logitech G7 Wireless.
Microsoft Intellimouse, Microsoft ergonomic old school keyboard.

(NO I'm not using Blue tooth or the apple wireless)

Rant and Apple tech support grade:
After contacting technical support ( i give them a grade of a C+)
they do and will not help me with windows related issues, although they have made bootcamp. I swear i was talking to a robot. "Please find your answer at apple.com/support. Maam, I have looked for hours to find my answer.. Can you please help me with this issue? ..Please find your answer at apple.com/support. " Thats what yo just said, thanks but I couldnt find my answr after hours searching for it. "Please find your answer at apple.com support, have a nice day.

In experience, Microsoft will not continue tech support when they hear that I have a Mac Pro. "I'm sorry we only support windows running on Pc hardware".
Oh I asked them this 2 years ago.. I need help with my windows ..
"Im sorry we no longer support windows 2000, please upgrade to windows Xp. If you would like support we will charge you 250.00 per half hour."
(Grade F- )

So tell me, Who's responsible??? God I hate tech support.
Even though I used to be one lol..

Thank you and btw this is my first post. I hope to stay here :)

Someone please have an answer?
This is the third "high end forum" i have asked this at.

I reinstalled windows and everything worked ok for 2 whole days.
Then it happened again.

I don't have the luxury of reinstalling windows like everyday.

I need windows only programs for school team projects. Deadline is coming.

Thanks.

I can't really help you with your bootcamp problems, looks tricky to me.

But if you are desperate to get any version of windows functioning on your mac pro, and it's not 3D application or game stuff, one of the things you can do is either buy Parallels (80 dollars or so) or try the beta of VMWare Fusion.

Instead of using bootcamp, try using a virtual image of Windows. Perhaps that will help ?

Well thanks for responding
however, I do most of my tasks in Mac, but for 3d , mac i can't use it for school and my graduation projects, otherwise virtual software would be ok. Windows is really only needed for 3d, but in reality, MOST of my hours are spent in 3d!

Virtual software cannot direct enough memory along with compatibility as well.
