Other Keyboard number row on ios12

Any idea when will Apple add a number two w/o having to click on the number button on top of the QWERTY keyboard just like Samsung and other android devices have?

I would love to see a number row added on the next iOS 12 update

Nice idea. I prefer that number two on top specially when having to type phone numbers, dates, birthdays and so on... and want to stay on the keyboard w/o having to switch via the number key to access a number row.

I’d rather have native swipe typing instead of needing a 3rd party keyboard. That’s the one thing I really miss about Android.

Gboard is pretty good on IOS too. Try it.

I agree that Gboard is really great. I love swipe, but the killer feature is sliding your finger on the space key to move the cursor/input point.

The only thing is that Gboard, at least for me, is the buggiest piece of crap app I have on my phone. It takes forever to load, routinely crashes, and just basically doesn't work as fluidly as it did when it was first released.

Much of that can likely be attributed to my now outdated hardware (iPhone6 on iOS11.x). It ran great on iOS10 but I needed 11 to access the new features of my AW, so I live with the consequences.

Anyways, if Apple were to "steal" those two features of Gboard and put them on the stock keyboard, I'd switch back in a second. As it is, I still use Gboard, even with the major issues I have, mostly because those two features are so frigg'n great.
