Does Apple sell the bluetooth wireless keyboard with the number pad and arrows? Its something that I overlooked when looking into buying a mac. I want the aluminum wireless keyboard, but I hate not having the number pad and arrows. I couldn't find one anywhere.

Thought so. Anybody know of a 3rd party keyboard that looks pretty much like the wireless keyboard. I will do some searching, but I thought that someone might have already purchased something.

I wish they did do a wireless keyboard with number pad. Surely the demand is there. Anyhow, I have to say I am still very happy with my wireless keyboard - I got used to it surprisingly quickly.
 
I have had it about 10 months and am pretty used to it. But every once in a while it is really annoying to not have those additional keys.

I saw in Comet (UK) a really nice Logitech wireless combo for the Mac - white, with option/command keys etc.

Was going to pick that up but I read the reviews and it isn't that good. I could care less on how it feels/looks or where the buttons are located but a major problem that most customers have is that sometimes the keys don't register or you need to press it hard or more than once. The mouse is solid but keyboard falls short.
 
Try looking for Apple's former Bluetooth keyboard? I love it, its keys have deeper travel and they can all be popped off for the occasional cleaning.

Bought mine 4 years ago with my original Mac, a G4 Mini... the Macs keep changing but the keyboard's still going strong :D
 
I might eventually get the old plastic bluetooth keyboard. I will be using keyboard/mouse just when I connect my MacBook Pro to the TV so a slim design/profile is important, don't want something thick laying around when it's not in use.
 
Strangely enough I just had an interesting talk with an Apple rep. I called to change my order slightly for my iMac (ordered a 4850 -- so I've had time to mull it over), I dropped the wireless mighty mouse since I've heard about so many people having problems with it and because I decided I'd probably just stick with my current wireless logitech which works great on my last gen mini. The rep then asked me if I wanted to stick with the wireless keyboard, which I did and then he asked if I wanted the wireless with or without the numeric keypad. I immediately answered that I wanted the numeric keypad, of course, but I'm skeptical that this conversation and reality coincide to any significant degree.
 
revx, please let us know how that works out. I would be thrilled to get a wireless keyboard with the additional keys.
 
There is no Apple wireless keyboard with num pad. I had 2 faulty keyboards with my new iMac, and many of the reps asked if I wanted the wireless with num pad. I kept saying that they don't have such a keyboard, finally the rep said it is the OLD plastic model. You can get that one with new orders if you prefer but you have to call to order.

I like having a wired keyboard and wireless keyboard. Then when I need the wireless it's small enough to fit in my lap.

That is exactly the one that I bought. I love it and I've had no issues with it. Batteries last a long time on it. When the OP first mentioned what he was looking for it came to my mind immediately.

So does the aluminum finish of the keyboard match the aluminum look of the iMac? I really want my keyboard to match the computer....kind of silly, but important to me.
