keyboard options

now that the new imacs comes with the short keyboard (without the number pad), is there any option to exchange the keyboard for an extended/keyboard with keypad if you DON'T buy directly from apple? (I know that you can select an extended keyboard instead of the short one if you BTO from apple).

You can only get the long one if you order from Apple.

You could sell it as new on eBay for not much of a loss.

I asked PC World if they'd throw one in as I can get the same machine for the same price delivered straight from Apple with the keyboard of my choice. After talking to several members of staff, they eventually said that they would discount one for me when I purchase, though they couldn't tell me by how much until I was ready to buy. Apparently they have a certain amount of discount that they can give out in any one day...at least that's what they told me.

May be worth asking, then you can sell the small one as has been suggested.
