looks like someone has got s keyboard from s NJ store. So, though I believe most store don't have any yet, some may already have them in stock.

Why don't we just post the stores you went to, when you went there and more importantly, their stock situation. So we may get a more detailed idea about how to get those keyboard/pencils faster.
 
Maybe they are not selling or keeping them on the shelves because hoarders can come buy them all and sell them double the price. Tell the rep to check in the back. It was me who got from NJ :p Most likely apple store at 5th avenue have them they always got new and huge quantities per my experience but now i am not in NY anymore.
 
Just visited and checked the Brandon, FL store. The salesperson said "I don't think so". Very noncommittal. Uncertain if that means "no" or if he just didn't want to check in the back. I'll check again tomorrow.

also call applecare before going to store if they yes they have it then you can tell salesperson that you spoke to applecare and they said this store have them. But if applecare says no then there is no point going there if you are just going there for Apple keyboard.
 
Looks like someone got a call from Austin, Tx saying his keyboard/pencil is available to be picked up......

Walked into the Apple UTC location in San Diego this afternoon and saw several Smart Keyboards on the shelf. Before I spotted them, the product specialist I spoke to told me that the Pencil and Smart Keyboard were not available for 3-4 weeks. He was shocked when I returned a few minutes later with Smart Keyboard in hand.

Seems like they are trickling into stores but trying to ascertain availability over the phone or even in store is a gamble.
 
Just called the store in Sacramento, the lady answered phone and said they don't have the pencil, but need to check on the smart keyboard. After like two minutes she came back said the keyboard was sold out..... Guess the keyboard did came earlier today..
 
There are a few Smart Keyboards for sale in Oakridge Apple Store but no Apple Pencil.
 
According to apple the 5th avenue apple store has pencils, of course i can't get there
 
Roosevelt Field, Garden City, long Island, New York. As of 7 Pm ESt or so, they said they had "a great many" pencils. I assume it means you may have luck tomorrow as well.

I've been using mine all morning for notes. Best writing stylus I've used. I only wish it would work on my 6s plus. I am a heavy Evernote user so will need to explore more about an app that integrates easily with that. I'm comparing this from owing the jot pro, script v.2, pencil by 53 as well as a passive Adonit stylus in addition to the Libescribe 3 pro. Pencil is the most natural writing and feeling of them all. Biggest fear is loosing it!!
 
My Jacksonville, FL store got them in today.. I walked in on my lunch break just now not expecting anything but they said "we got pencils and smart keyboards this morning".. I grabbed the last single Pencil and they had two smart keyboards left.. got one of each :) Best of luck on the hunt to you all!
 
Was just in Towson, MD store. They have about 10 Keyboards and no pencils. Employee said they got 40 pencils yesterday and sold out in less than an hour.
 
Zero Apple Pencils in stock at the Apple store at Park Meadows in Lone Tree, CO, as recently as 11 AM on Wednesday.
 
None at South Coast Plaza (SoCal). Checked at 10:15am.

Anyone want to be a pal and get me one, if they see one at that store? :)
 
Visited the Georgetown DC store at 1 pm. They had pencils this AM but sold out. Showed me an iPhone app that had the inventory status of the stores in the area.

DC has a LOT of Apple stores. It's awesome.

Montgomery Mall in Bethesda had a few left. the rest were out. that includes Clarendon, Tysons, Pentagon City, Bethesda Row, and Reston.

Didn't think that by the time I got to the Mall they'd have any left. So will think about tomorrow.

The guy on the phone at Clarendon insists that if they have stock the Apple Store will give you a pickup option on the website. I'm skeptical.

I was told the same thing. That is not the case and an apple rep on the phone tried and came to the same conclusion. The store employee was adamant we were both wrong. I got there and what I wanted was in stock so I let it go.

I went to the Montgomery Mall location shortly before 2 PM. They sold their last Pencil around 1 PM...

I went to the Reston store this morning right as they opened. Myself and another person were there for the Pencil, and a few minutes after the store opened, they got their shipment. However, only 2 Pencils came in, so he and I bought them.

Back at Georgetown this morning, still no luck. They showed me the inventory app, showing Pencils at Columbia Mall, Maryland, and the Apple Store south of the DC area near Potomac Mills, but nowhere else. That's like 8 stores with no stock just this morning.

I was at the Potomac Town Center store this afternoon. I heard a customer ask for it, and the store rep brought him the last one, which of course he bought.
