Certain keys on my macbook don't work all the time. I,K,8,and comma "," and the arrows all seem to stop working for long periods of time. Sometimes turning on the screensaver will bring them back, sometimes reseting, but not all the time. Nothing has spilled on the keys and they do work sometimes. Right now, no problem, but this is the first time today they have worked...3 resets and many screensavers later. Does it sound like something familier to anyone before I call apple? (which is tricky in intself because i never know when the keys will stop working again.)

Definitely sounds like a dodgy keyboard...a "vertical" line of non-functioning keys is a pretty common manifestation of this. Looks like it's time to contact Apple.

I assume it isn't related to "num lock" being activated...that would cause the comma key to stop functioning, but you would get numbers when hitting the other keys you mention.
