I have a Mac Mini set up in home theater format, connected to my TV, which currently runs Mavericks. I control it exclusively through screen sharing with my macbook. I've been cautious to upgrade it to Yosemite because, believe it or not, I don't own a keyboard and was not sure if it would require a bluetooth or usb keyboard to complete the installation before I can use screen sharing again. Does anyone know if this is the case?

A keyboard isn't needed for an OS upgrade. I have a Mini server that I upgraded via screen sharing. No problems.
