Hello,
Since I have updated to Yosemite the keyboard shortcuts like cmd+q , cmd+w , cmd+c , cmd+v etc. are not working anymore in Safari and Quicktime (perhaps also in other programs, I haven't tested them all). But they work in all the other programs I have tested (photoshop, finder, itunes, mail etc.).

The thing which is strange is that when I click on the menu bar of safari or quicktime and use then the shortcut it works without any problems.

Thank you for your help

Pol

Hello,
Thank you for your help
Pol

Update:

Pol, is your primary language English? I remembered, that I had the same problem using the first dev-build of Yosemite. I set English as primary language and all shortcuts work again.

Strange: if I switch back, the bug returns but the system language stays EN.
