I realise of course that this is just the first beta, though having had this problem for countless iOS updates, I think it really is about time that Apple sort out the fact that you can't permanently delete or edit keyboard shortcuts. I swear this has been a thing since they first introduced the feature in iOS 5/6, and I just don't understand how it's still here...

Yeah, I kind of stopped using and relying on them over time because of inconsistencies like that.

wow. unbelievable. sad.

all of us who have tried to delete keyboard shortcuts know that they just come back within a few minutes of deleting or changing them.
i have always wondered if the reason for this is due to iCloud servers programmed to keep changes up to date, but something going wrong when it comes to these keyboard shortcuts so its just keeping them always, all the time.

anyway, its really unbelievable that apple can't fix this.

I wasn't able to even OPEN my shortcuts for the longest time without Settings crashing, until I read online somewhere to turn off iCloud documents and data completely and turn it back on. Not sure why this worked....

If the documents and data toggle doesn't show back up (like it didn't for me), then sign out of iCloud COMPLETELY and then resign in. Of course, make sure all of your stuff is backed up because this will delete ALL of your iCloud data (I'm pretty sure. Be safe).
