Anyone knows where to buy a keyboard skin for the new 11" MacBook Air?

I'm as picky as anyone when it comes to keeping my various Mac laptops clean. Yet frankly I can't imagine masking the true enjoyment of using the fine keyboards on my MBA & MBP's. I have a friend who has one on his MBP & it kills the wonderful tactile feedback.

That's my take on it. Why not just use it as it was intended to be used?

I thought I wouldn't like a keyboard skin either, but I've been using Moshi for nearly a year now and it is so thin that I never noticed a difference. It's really well-made and takes the worry factor out. I'm careful with liquids around my MB, but you never know.

Moshi makes the best ones. Too bad that the Apple stores carry another brand (marware?) that is a bit thicker and less transparent. They are about the same price so I recommend the moshi ones.

Thanks. I bit. Eventually I'd like the get the moshi bec. it is probably better quality, but this will do for the time being.

Me too. This will provide some temporary protection until Moshi releases their version. It's too bad these keys get oily and worn so easily.

The Moshi gets a cloudy look after some time of using it, to a point you can't see the keys very well and it won't wash off. The iSkin is a much better keyboard cover and for Macs with BL KB's the keys are etched to accommodate it.

True, the moshi does get a little cloudy but mine still looks pretty good though after six months of use.

On moshi's facebook page, there is an update re the 11" So end of December probably. Long time IMO so glad I got the ebay one for now.

"Moshi Hi Adam, we'll be launching it around the end of next month. We'll also be releasing a PalmGuard as well and a Muse 11 sleeve...but don't tell anyone because this is like super top secret info. - wendy

I just read on the reviews on Moshi's page that they recommend dishwashing soap to remove the cloudiness. Will try.

Just found some update. If you go to their web site and on the specification page for the clear guard, you will see new info being added and the name of the product for the 11" MBA is Clearguard 11.

Yikes, I just went to that eBay listing and it says they'll deliver between December 15 and 28.

Nice, thanks. I am waiting for my Chinese keyguard. Left China on the 23rd. I paid for the standard shipping so hopefully it won't take 2-3 weeks like some other things I have ordered on ebay have.

Your item left SHENZHEN EMS, CHINA PEOPLES REP on November 23, 2010. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

I also ordered the keyboard skin from the Chinese ebay seller. I received it yesterday. The fit is excellent, it doesn't interfere with the closing of the laptop and stays in place. The quality is not as nice as some I've bought in the past, it adds a bit of resistance to the keypresses. But the protection is worth it since I often use the MBA while eating/drinking.

The packaging lists it as being 0.18mm thick. Moshi ones are supposed 0.1mm (rounded from what?).

Got mine too a couple of days ago. I paid for standard shipping and ordered on 11-19. Unfortunately, my 11" is out of town until next week so I can't comment on the fit or feel. But the packaging is nice and it looks like it is decent quality. Reading all the horror stories about people killing their MBA's with just a little water makes me glad to be using these things.

For those who ordered from an eBay seller from Hong Kong, when did you order it, and when did you get it? I know it's a busy time of the year, so I'm just looking for a timeframe if I place an order today.
