I'm looking for a keyboard skin or protector for my 13" late 2010 MBA.

Does anyone know of any? I know of moshi but I've heard conflicting reports on it's compatability..

I got the moshi one for 13" and it fits the MBA perfectly. Not sure if I'll stick with it, but for now feels really good and keeps the keys clean

If it's a perfect fit and keeps it clean and feels good why not stick with it? is it an issue of not wanting a protector?

Are there any other people who make the skins?

I know that iskin does but not for the MBA 2010.

Cheap eBay cover > Moshi :)

Do you own one? Which one specifically? I don't want to buy one that doesn't align correctly, it's important (to me) that it be a near perfect fit. Please let me know which eBay cover your talking about that specifically fits the 13" late 2010 Air.

Oh, I really hope the one I ordered from Amazon works.

What issue did you have with the size and fitting?

Personally I have owned the Moshi clearguard and I liked it, but after a few months it didn't look so pleasant. Washing it only made things worst, the material became cloudy and was no longer transparent. I couldn't justify myself to reorder, especially with the retail price.

I, then looked on eBay and found a cheaper solution. Grabbed a few colors and they also have them in clear. The fit is actually perfect and even better, it won't put a hole in my pocket if ever I need to replace.

Oh how I miss my fresh moshi clearguard. I just applied a new one today to my macbook air 11.6 and it looks soooo good compared to my old one on my mbp.

Thats a macbook pro...

I'm looking for one for macbook air, I've read there are issues with compatibility, so that does me no good. I need someone who specifically owns a late '10 13" MBA with a skinguard. So far moshi seems like the only answer.

What compatibility issues are you talking about? I have had a moshi on my 13" 2010 and it was fine. Not the end of the world. There was a little floating on the top left corner of the keys but barely and unnoticeable when unless I really looked at it.

I ordered one online from amazon.com and I too am trying to figure out what the issue is with respect to compatibility. The keyboards on the macs are practically identical with the exception that the power button is the top right corner key instead of the ejection button, but if the moshi is clear and does not have any writing on it then it is not a problem.

mine had excess along all sides and it shifted about a tiny bit. that being said it was still a pretty good protector. didnt feel too stiff when i typed and i assume it will get softer with time.

Yes it is extremely thin, but you can definitely feel it when typing obviously. Over time, the protector gets cloudy and some days can look ugly.

How quickly does it go from clear and nice to ugly? Also washing it does not help? Thanks.

I received it today and it was in the box being shipped back to amazon within 10 minutes because it is just terrible. It is not made for the macbook air and it just doesn't sit right.

I would not recommend the moshi protector at all for the MBA.

Did you get the MBA 11? I see that it is made for the MBA 11. :D
