Keyboard swiping has become awful in iOS 17

Everything I swipe is like 95% wrong and the suggestions are also wrong. I can’t even use it anymore.

I noticed this when updating to iOS 17 on my iPhone, and confirmed it was iOS 17 when I downgraded back to iOS 16 on my iPad and noticed how the keyboard was a lot better before than it is now.

Anyone else?

Ps. I don’t see any improvements in autocorrect either

i have noticed the same! at first i thought i was just misremembering, but swipe is totally unusable to me after i finally updated to 17

Honestly forgot this was a thing tbh.

I am using it now and it seems to work as it always had

The best keyboard was Gboard but it looks like Google gave it up. No updates since over a year. SwiftKey is good but also not what I'm looking for.
