I was on Tiger then I upgraded to Leopard. After a couple months I noticed a slow down a thought I would do an archive and install. So I did that last night, still noticed a slow down so I backup up my stuff and did a clean. First thing I noticed was the trackpad and keyboard did not work. The caps lock key and num lock key would blink uncontrollably and would not turn on and off when I tapped them.
I hooked up an external keyboard and mouse so I could run software update and grab MacBookMacbookPro SU1.1.dmg which is suppose to fix this problem, but it didn't. I tried resetting my PRAM and resetting something else, which involved holding down option, command, and I forgot the 2 other keys, but I never heard the 2nd Apple sound. Probably since the keyboard was not working. So I turned it off and went to bed. Turn it on this morning and the caps lock key is still blinking oddly, but both the keyboard and trackpad are working sporadically. The tracked would work for a couple seconds then stop. Same with the keyboard.
