When I bought my new iMac, I got the wired one for that very reason. Added bonus: USB 2 ports on the keyboard.

I just bought the older wired keyboard with numpad yesterday, I do prefer it to the new keyboards. I mean really, I'm using a desktop computer, why the hell would I want a laptop keyboard? The reason behind it, is I assume to save space, but with a 27" display, keyboard size is the least of your problems.

I also have an old saitek backlit keyboard that I like .

I kind of agree with that lol.... I dont see it coming anytime soon , and this small wireless keyboard is beatifull. dont want a big one.
